My live changed one year ago. I never wanted to go to learn English\noutside of Spain, mainly because I was afraid. However, I decided to try and I\ncouldn’t have made a better choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My adventure began for 3 months in a country I had never visited, England\nand in a town I did not know, Broadstairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember the first day I arrived, not knowing the language, without knowing anyone. I came home to a family I didn’t know, which accepted me as one more member within them, and when my “baby” asked me if I wanted to play a game with him, without understanding anything about what he was telling me we started playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second day, even more nervous than the day before, I arrived at\nHilderstone College, where I sat on the sofa to wait. They took me to a class and there were all my classmates, all different\nnationalities, who accepted me perfectly as one more classmate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After five minutes she arrived, the only girl in the class at the time. She’s\nThai, she’d never expect me to have a best friend from Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the class was over, I remember she asked me, \u201cdo you want to come to\nlunch with us?\u201d And super embarrassed because I didn’t know how to speak\nEnglish, without knowing the town and without knowing anyone, I accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From that moment we became inseparable, and my 3 months at Hilderstone\nCollege became 6 months and then 9 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My teachers became my\nfriends, my host family became my second family, and my friend became my sister<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first I didn’t want to go to England and after 9 months I didn’t want to\ngo back to Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I arrived at Hilderstone College without knowing any English, and once I\nfinished my course I decided to take my Master’s degree in English, which I was\nable to finish successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I must thank, for all my successes, my teachers at school, my second family, my friends, Hilderstone College, Broadstairs and England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you, thank you and thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
