{"id":1095,"date":"2019-09-24T15:14:14","date_gmt":"2019-09-24T14:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hilderstonecollege.com\/blog\/?p=1095"},"modified":"2019-09-24T15:14:15","modified_gmt":"2019-09-24T14:14:15","slug":"teacher-workshop-in-the-netherlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hilderstonecollege.com\/blog\/teacher-workshop-in-the-netherlands\/","title":{"rendered":"TEACHER WORKSHOP IN THE NETHERLANDS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Hilderstone tutor and trainer Dominic Srivalsan writes about his recent visit to a school in Doorn.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>  Revius Lyceum Doorn is a secondary school in the small\u00a0 town of Doorn, not far from Utrecht in the Netherlands, with whom Hilderstone has had a close association over the years, having sent a number of teachers here for short courses. This time, with the numbers attending,\u00a0 it was deemed more practical to send Hilderstone to them.\u00a0 I was pleased to be able to spend a morning helping out with ideas and activities to help the teachers start off their new term. Some were completely new to CLIL, while a number had attended courses here in Broadstairs.
