Our Swiss student, Nadin, recently enjoyed an unforgettable two-week English immersion experience at Hilderstone College in Broadstairs. To celebrate their 40th anniversary, our long-standing and valued Swiss partner organised a special scholarship raffle, giving students the chance to win a study experience abroad. We were delighted when Nadin was selected as the lucky winner and had the opportunity to join us at Hilderstone College.
Nadin explained in her own words below about how she made the most of her experience in Broadstairs:
“I had the chance to spend two weeks at Hilderstone College. It was a unique experience to improve my English in such a charming costal town. The English teachers at school were very friendly and were happy to help me with any individual questions. As I was staying in a host family, I was also able to practice my English in everyday situations. In my free time I liked to visit the surrounding towns. In addition, I really enjoyed taking part in the social activities organised by the college together with my new friends. They were always great fun!”
We loved welcoming Nadin to Broadstairs and wish her every success and good luck as she continues her English language learning journey and looks ahead to an exciting future.
