English + Mindfulness

While the English language is used all around the globe and remains vital for communication in international contexts, mental health and wellbeing are also extremely important in our lives.

We live busy lives, with demanding professional goals, and it is more important than ever to find ways to cope with stress and feel in harmony with the world around us.

What better way to work towards that balance than with a short English course combined with mindfulness activities?

With our English + Mindfulness course, students will be able to focus on their English language skills in the morning and complement their course with mindfulness activities in the afternoon.

Objectives

Our English + Mindfulness course is designed to improve your overall level of English so that you feel more confident, fluent and able to communicate in different situations. You will have the chance to expand your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, and the academic programme is designed to develop all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. 

This course also gives students the opportunity to try a variety of mindful activities, designed to maximise your sense of wellbeing and to incorporate our beautiful natural surroundings as much as possible.

Outcomes

On this course, students will improve their English language skills for study, work, travel or for pleasure, as well as benefiting physically and mentally from all the activities they take part in.

Activities

During the afternoon, you will enjoy activities such as yoga and meditation workshops, reiki meditations, spa afternoons, mindfulness workshops, beautiful seaside walks, Tai Chi, or a chance to walk Alpacas in beautiful woodland grounds. You will also design your own vision board to help with manifesting goals.
