We will follow UK Government guidance with regard to safety measures in the classroom. However, regardless of any restrictions in place, we will encourage social-distancing, implement regular thorough cleaning, hand sanitiser will be provided, and classrooms will be well ventilated.
Our homestay hosts will provide a safe, comfortable and friendly place to stay. If you test positive for covid-19, you will self-isolate at your homestay or private accommodation (if applicable).
Our priority is to do our best to keep our students safe. As a result there may be times when we may not be able to offer our traditional social programme.
Please see our Covid-19 Guidelines, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Please always check your own country's travel regulations about entering and departing England.
If you would like to combine your English studies with some visits to local places of interest, this is the course for you! Spend your mornings developing your language skills with our friendly and experienced tutors, and then make the most of our wonderful location with excursions to a variety of destinations.
Due to the Covid-19 situation, there may be times when other students join the class online (hybrid learning). To enable the class to interact with one another, everyone should be prepared to connect online. You will receive access details in advance. All students need to bring either a laptop or a tablet to take part in our courses.
Your morning classes are designed to improve your overall level of English and increase your confidence in using the language in a variety of situations, especially in social situations and while travelling. Your tutors will develop your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, and provide plenty of opportunity for speaking practice.
On this course, students will improve both their accuracy and fluency to enable them to communicate more confidently in English, in a variety of situations.
Please note: the College is closed on 01/05/2023 and 29/05/2023. A free excursion/activity will be offered to students on these days.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hilderstone, especially because of the people, the warm atmosphere [and] very interesting excursions.
