Insun, from South Korea, is staying at Hilderstone for at least six months, so really has an opportunity to get to know the College and our home town of Broadstairs. Here’s what she has to say about her experience so far…
I came to England in January to learn English at a different school. I was planning to learn English there for six months; however, I had to stop in March because of coronavirus. When the school closed, I started to learn English online but it wasn’t the same so I looked for a school that was open but they were all closed. However, I kept looking online for a long time and finally I found a school that was open and that was Hilderstone College. I am having a great time here. Every teacher here is very friendly and kind. I was worried at first because I am shy and I find speaking to someone new difficult but everyone spoke to me so I felt relieved.
At Hilderstone College there is a Learning Centre where you can study whenever you want, and there is lovely garden with lots of squirrels. In the break time you can play table tennis, pool and air hockey with your friends. In the building there are a lot of places where you can relax and chat with your friends. In Broadstairs there are many interesting shops, many restaurants and bakeries. Near the college there is a bakery which sells very tasty things, and where you can go and get some lunch. There is also a beautiful beach and you can go for a walk or you can swim if you like.
I highly recommend Hilderstone College because I am having a very good time and the lessons are high quality. I think this experience here in Hilderstone is going to be the best memory in my life. Hilderstone College is the best place to improve your English.
