One of our recent university course students, Nadia, kindly wrote to us about how much she enjoyed her course. Here’s what she had to say!
After a whole semester of online teaching at my home university, I was a bit tired of it, and therefore sceptical if I could manage to survive three more weeks of online teaching.
But my doubts were gone as soon as my Intensive English Language Course at Advanced Level for University Students at Hilderstone College had started. Rachel, our teacher, created an awesome online learning space for us by using a variety of methods and materials. The lessons were very well structured and never boring. Rachel also checked regularly which topics we would like to repeat or discuss in the upcoming lessons, which I think was great to achieve the best possible progress. What I also found extremely helpful was that Rachel, Lee and Sam encouraged us daily to send them whatever we wanted in English, and they would have a look at it and send us some feedback.
In addition to my regular course, I also attended some IELTS Booster classes in the afternoons, which was very informative and personal as we were only a group of 4 students! I feel so much better prepared for the IELTS test now than I did before I took part in the course.
Thank you so much Rachel, Lee and Sam for teaching us your mother tongue in such a professional and humorous way!
