About the course

The perfect language course for IELTS preparation and successful entry and study at a British university on your chosen course.

Course Objectives

This course is designed to ensure your English reaches the entry requirement for your chosen university course. It focuses on the key skills you will require to study effectively at university, including:

• general development of your level of English language
• academic writing, reports and essays
• note-taking
• research skills
• understanding lectures
• participating in seminars
• making presentations

It also prepares you to reach your full potential at IELTS:

• developing the skills required for each aspect of the IELTS test
• regular practice questions and mock examinations
• exam success skills and familiarisation
• feedback and tutorials with your tutor

Outcomes

You will improve your academic English skills and language in order to study effectively on a university undergraduate or postgraduate course, as well as preparing for IELTS.

Fees 2023

Registration fee: £90

Tuition:

• 1 week: £315
• 2 to 4 weeks: £306 per week
• 5 to 12 weeks: £295 per week
• 13 to 24 weeks: £275 per week
• 25 to 35 weeks: £265 per week
• 36+ weeks: £260 per week

Homestay Accommodation (if required):

• £180 per week in 2023

Coursebook: included for students booked for 3 weeks+ (a loan coursebook is given to students booked for 1 or 2 weeks, with an option to buy at cost price or return unmarked at the end of the course.
