We will follow UK Government guidance with regard to safety measures in the classroom. The maximum student number in class will be reduced to 8, we will implement safe-distancing, staggered break times, regular thorough cleaning, hand sanitiser will be provided, classrooms will be well ventilated.
Our homestay hosts will provide a safe, comfortable and friendly place to stay. If you, or a member of your homestay family, becomes ill, you will self-isolate together.
Our priority is to do our best to keep our students safe. As a result there may be times when we may not be able to offer our traditional social programme.
Please see our Covid-19 Guidelines, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Some of our students have to self-isolate, take COVID-19 tests and complete forms. Below is a video of one of our students explaining what it was like for him. Always refer to the UK government website to find out what you need to do, and please contact us if you are unsure of anything.
Please always check your own country's travel regulations about entering and departing England.
Improve your overall level of English, whether you are learning for your job, for travel, for your studies or for pleasure.
Due to the Covid-19 situation, there may be times when other students join the class online (hybrid learning). To enable the class to interact with one another, everyone should be prepared to connect online. You will receive access details in advance.
All students need to bring either a laptop or a tablet to take part in our courses.
Our Intensive English course is designed to improve your overall level of English to make you more confident, fluent and able to communicate in different life and work situations. Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation are presented in meaningful and enjoyable ways, and the teaching programme is designed to improve all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. The teachers will also help you with your pronunciation.
We evaluate your level of English at the start of your course to understand your individual needs. We monitor your progress through continuous assessment, regular progress tests, as well as regular tutorials. At the end of your stay you will receive a personal report and certificate confirming your final level and the progress you have made. Your teachers can also advise you on whether you should think about doing an exam preparation course.
You will improve your accuracy and fluency in English as well as your confidence in using the language in social, travel and general work situations.
