We will follow UK Government guidance with regard to safety measures in the classroom. However, regardless of any restrictions in place, we will encourage social-distancing, implement regular thorough cleaning, hand sanitiser will be provided, and classrooms will be well ventilated.
Our homestay hosts will provide a safe, comfortable and friendly place to stay. If you test positive for covid-19, you will self-isolate at your homestay or private accommodation (if applicable).
Our priority is to do our best to keep our students safe. As a result there may be times when we may not be able to offer our traditional social programme.
Please see our Covid-19 Guidelines, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Please always check your own country's travel regulations about entering and departing England.
Cannot travel to Broadstairs to study English? But you still want Hilderstone to help you? If so, Hilderstone Online could be your solution.
The Hilderstone Online course gives you the same expertise from our dynamic, well-chosen teachers that you would get if you were here in Broadstairs. We will help you to improve your skills and understanding of grammar as well as enriching your vocabulary.
There may be times when you join our face-to-face classes online (hybrid learning).
Through an online platform, the objective of the course is to provide a full practice of the four skills as well as improve your vocabulary and grammar in the given time frame.
By the end of the course, you will have practised and developed all four language skills as well as increasing your ability to use grammar and vocabulary appropriately.
We use Zoom for our lessons. Click here for a demo.
We have two course options available (subject to availability). You can choose 15 or 21 online hours per week. There will be regular breaks for your comfort. A timetable is available for each course option (see samples below). The teacher will also set some overnight work.
Course available throughout the year, and students can book this course for a minimum of two weeks.
*Please note that the College closes for Christmas from 18 December 2023 and 5 January 2024.
The following dates are bank holidays in the UK, and no lessons take place on those days. We will arrange to make up the time during the rest of the course.
