Online courses for groups 16+

Hilderstone College organises courses for groups of students aged 16+. These courses are tailor made and can be adapted to your requests.

You can decide the number of lessons you wish to book (minimum 5 and a maximum of 15 x 60 minute lessons per week), and choose the length of the lessons (30, 45 or 60 minutes).

The content of the course will reflect your requests. Some popular topics are:

  • Intensive English - this usually concentrates on listening and speaking skills as well as a good overview of relevant grammar and vocabulary.
  • Exam preparation (IELTS, Cambridge A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First, C1 Advanced, B1 Business Preliminary, etc.)
  • Academic English or pre-university
  • Business or professional English
  • Teacher development (CLIL or for teachers of English)

How does it work?

You can choose your preferred platform (Zoom, Skype, Google Hangouts). If you choose Zoom, click here for a demo.

We recognise that sitting in front of a computer is not always comfortable. Therefore, depending on the package you choose (number of daily lessons, length of lessons, etc), we can arrange for an online session followed by an offline session focusing on work set by the teacher. Students can then return for another online session of work with classmates and the teacher. Overnight work is usually set daily.

However, we are open to different combinations, so please feel free to contact us to discuss options.
